The team behind the building of the Soweto Theatre is proud to have been part of this Jabulani Development. It stands as a true icon and a testimony to exceptional teamwork and talented resources.
And we gratefully accept the SAPOA award that the project received in the social impact development category for the first performing arts venue developed in a former township.
The development will include the following urban amenities:
- 3 870 Residential multi-storey residential walk-up apartments consisting of open market bonded sales, open market rentals and social housing units
- Extensive road and internal infrastructure, roads, sewer, water, storm water and electrical reticulation
- Commercial and retail development opposite the Soweto Theatre Complex
- Performing arts theatre
- Amphitheatre
